This seems to be a ongoing problem!
I could do the math, and feel as though I dont need to.
Most of my posts are material, and I have less than a 7% reply, knowing(as I can see) the amount of downloads performed(?pervformed)?.
What makes me smile also is the amount of times people say thanks "I'm downloading now"., yey when you look at your RS acount, no-one has!

As I have said in the past, the Mods need to watch who takes what, and perhaps NOT accept 334 TY's. Perhaps people could extend their thanks beyound two costanants, maybe they could describe what they liked about a post......regardless of language...................we all have access to a translating tool on the net.
For me, as you know, I often find my posts on other forums, but feel as though this is the one I feel most at home in.

For all those out there that have not replied to a post you like so far............DO IT!

I hear you bumpin2u but the problem we have is that since the links where the videos hosted are external, we can't monitor who takes what as we could if we had our own server.

I like your idea about people describing what they liked about the videos as that shows meaningful support to the poster. At least those people do reply unlike the ones that never do. They are the ones we need to target the most.

Unfortunately human nature been what it is, all we can do is encourage people to participate as you are doing now and make those pay who can't be bothered.

It would be interesting to actually monitor the amount of downloads off each upload, ip addys are available...Iknow that so a sure way of ensuring people respond is to set up a filter that counts, that tracks...which I am sure is possible as well).
This in NO WAY should become a policed forum. it is free for all to come, to go, to contribute, or rip....as we all know so very well.
But there are ways to monitor downloads, and if there is so much concern, then, perhaps this might be the avenue to go down if someone drops in and rips 200, and takes them elswhere without a word.
I'm sure a block can be put in place on a ip addy if this happens.

I can only pump up this place by the content, if not tell all my friends how good it is!

It is up to the owners, or those that have bought the name of the site to ensure that it can only become a better place. Not a place where people feel at ease to drop in and take without giving.
Same as those that contribute should feel at ease to do so knowing that those who have vested interest in the forum will ensure that the contributions are made without hestitation.
So far I have had around about 370,000-400,000 views on my posts in this forum.
Out of those I still have yet to figure out the downloads.

I know they are external servers, but is there not a way to link ? Surely sites make money through links?!?
